About Us
Technically speaking, we at Lauren Templeton Capital Management, LLC are money managers. But the most important thing you should know about us is that we are passionate about investing. We believe that successful investment practices can be adopted by nearly everyone.
We apply the timeless practices and methods of investment established by one of the world's most renowned investors, Sir John Templeton. Lauren remembers him warmly as Uncle John, and she continues his investment vision and legacy by holding his values near and dear.
Whether you are a novice or an old pro, smart investing begins with a few simple rules.

Our specific focus is on the advantages of value investing and the unique perspective of the bargain hunter. If you have ever waited for something to go on sale, or have resisted paying full price on a purchase, then you may be a bargain hunter! Value investing is a practice based on recognizing the fact that the price of an asset can differ greatly from its true worth.
If you are a bargain hunter, then you would never purchase something at full price if you believe it will be available later at a reduced price. Likewise, value investors in the stock market search for stocks selling at bargain prices, then eventually sell them at full price. Bargain hunters seek to maximize the difference between what is paid for an asset versus that asset's estimated worth.
